The contour, color and shape [of the eyebrows] are very important for the face β this element has both aesthetic and mimic significance. Any woman strives for individuality, a spectacular style, and we want to give beginners recommendations on using an eyebrow pencil.
Painting or raising eyebrows with a pencil at home, without the help of a makeup artist, is difficult only for the first time. Then you will get used to it, and at first you need to develop skills and remember a few important rules. There are several areas on your face, always noticeable, telling others about your mood and ability to maintain an individual style. Eyes and eyebrows can send signals - the perception and reaction to your appearance, look, mood depends on how makeup is selected in this part of the face.
Makeup artists have their own secrets of leaving and drawing eyebrows. First of all, you need to look at yourself and understand what you want β [change the shape of your eyebrows and correct] what nature has given you or achieve the perfect color for your appearance. Do not start with paint and tattooing, these are radical methods. If you make a mistake, the result will be extremely difficult to fix. There are simple ways and means - the ability to raise eyebrows with a pencil or special shadows.
In order to properly bring eyebrows with a special cosmetic pencil, you need to remember a few simple rules. We offer to consider them step by step, with photos and videos.
Let's start not with color, but with softness. Do not paint your eyebrows with an eye pencil - it is very soft, and you will not be able to apply subtle and accurate strokes. Look for a special eyebrow pencil that has a medium hardness. Sharpen it sharply, but so as not to scratch the skin.
Shadows should not be shiny. Eyebrow hairs themselves have a natural shine, and you do not need to add anything. Do not use liquid shadows and other gel formulations. Keep in mind that any shadows begin to crumble after a while, so choose only high-quality products.
No radical solutions! Eyebrows should not highlight the face in contrast. Therefore, for dark eyebrows, take a pencil half a tone lighter, and only brunettes can outline them in black. The ideal option is dark gray, wet asphalt. For blondes, gray or brown is even better. If the hair is red, then the color of the pencil is selected almost in tone.
The ideal option is to have two or three pencils. In a lighter tone, we work out the contour of the eyebrow from below, having previously plucked out the excess hairs. We make a darker outline from the top, but we are not fond of drawing. The natural contour is slightly blurred, so it can be blended with brush movements towards the hairs so as not to create a shadow on the skin. If you have not yet trained accurately, in one motion to properly bring your eyebrows, use [eyebrow stencil].
The tone is selected so that the contour is almost no different from the main color. Note that the head, body and tip of the tail of the eyebrow have different shades. Try not to completely hide this difference, because completely monochromatic eyebrows will look deliberate, and modern and generally competent makeup always remains thin and almost imperceptible.
Apply the tone with downward movements from the contour, then blend the pencil with a soft brush and comb the eyebrows. If the pencil is high-quality and resistant, you can fix the effect [by laminating the eyebrows].
So, to summarize - correcting and summing up eyebrows with a pencil is quite convenient. It is enough to choose the right tones and softness. We remind you of a few rules for beginners:
the pencil should be specifically for the eyebrows, as it has a certain softness;
shadows are only matte and quite persistent, not crumbling;
the base is not applied to the skin so that the pencil does not slip, but a thin layer of cream can be applied around, which will help remove unnecessary strokes;
there is no need to draw accurate contours, emphasize them with a contrasting color, highlight the eyebrow - it is already noticeable on the face.
Do not forget that after plucking the hairs, the skin may swell slightly. Let it move away, recover, and only then apply the contours with an eyebrow pencil. Do not scratch the skin, do not try to fill the entire eyebrow with color. The naturalness of makeup speaks of good taste, the ability to look after yourself and competently emphasize the strengths of your appearance. Photos and videos about using an eyebrow pencil will help you master this side of the art of makeup!
